Water pooling around the feet during a shower. In most cases the waste trap or the short run beyond it is restricted by hair and soap residue, but a ground-floor tray can also be the first place a drain blockage shows.
What it means for you
If the tray only backs up when the washing machine runs, the problem is the shared run, not the shower.
